  PLEASE READ BEFORE APPROACHING ME FOR RP
  
  1) YOU MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF NARUTO-BASED RPs. I don't want someone who doesn't know jack shit trying to pretend they do. If you don't understand a few things, fine, ask me through whisper to explain it to you, or you can have your character ask ICly. But try to be fairly knowledgeable.
  
  2) I will not RP with someone if they just want to hate on my character. I understand not everyone likes Naruto. And there's nothing wrong with that at all. I just don't want someone to try to start shit with me just because I'm roleplaying as a Naruto character.
  
  3) NO GOD MODDING, INVINCIBILITY, OR AUTO-HITTING. I can't tell you how many times I've had to quit somewhat decent RPs because of this. After reading Neji's information, some non-Naruto fans may assume that Neji is invincible, but in reality, he's not. So don't you go preaching to me about god-modding either, because I don't do it. Also, I am a consent-required player, and I will decide what happens to my character, not you. Neji will be injured in certain battles, no doubt, and may even come close to dieing, but I will not tolerate a post that instantly states Neji is bleeding and will die in about a minute, or instant-kill shots.
  
  4) Don't randomly ask me to be your "mate." Neji isn't interested in your Naruto OCs and shit. He has better things to do than try to wow a made-up Naruto character.
  
  5) I don't "yiff." Don't try to seduce Neji with any character, you will get your ass handed to you. Neji is not interested in your Naruto OCs, as stated above. In a long-term RP, Neji might have feelings for someone, but it's undecipherable as to whether he would act upon these impulses or not. Neji isn't one for affection.
  
  With the rules stated, I have some more things to add.

  • Yes, I am a female playing as a male. Don't like it? Don't RP with me.
  • I try to make posts about a paragraph long. This means 5-6 sentences minimum. Try to meet this minimum. Failure to do so may result in loss of RP privileges.
  • Please, please, PLEASE, try to be literate. A typo here and there is fine, but try not to use the same words over and over again. Synonyms make me happy. Try to make your posts at least at a high school reading level.
  • I am usually online on weekdays, as early as 9 AM FST until 12 AM FST. Try to catch me between these times.
  • Remember I am not always in the mood to RP. If I don't feel like it, leave it at that.
  • I enjoy long-term RPs.
  • I also enjoy RPs with other people who play as Naruto characters. I.E. Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, etc.
  • I don't mind RPing with Naruto OCs, but remember this will never be like your fangirl fanfiction.

  Personality Outside of his initial feelings towards his clan, Neji has been shown to be extremely serious and mature for his age, and to have great self-control. In battle, he is able to stay relatively calm in most situations and carefully look at the situation at hand. As stated by Tsunade, Neji has excellent instincts, both on the battlefield and as a leader. When forced to make difficult decisions on missions, he shows himself able to make a decision through keen observation and analysis.
  
  Appearance Neji has noticeably long dark brown hair, typical of males in the Hyūga clan. Like the rest of his clan, he has very fair skin and possesses the renowned Byakugan, which when activated, stimulates the veins and arteries immediately around his eyes to protrude more prominently. His eyes have a gray/lavender tint to them. Neji wears the traditional black and white Hyūga robes, also wearing his hitai-ate over his curse mark. He is seen smiling and chuckling at times. While mostly composed, Neji looks to be more calm, confident, and mature, rather than challenging and haughty.
  
  Abilities From a young age, Neji has been hailed a natural genius. He was labeled the top-ranked rookie in his class, and was said by Rock Lee to be the strongest genin of the Chūnin Exams. His father even stated that with his talent, he could potentially surpass all other members of their clan. When most of the former Konoha 11 genin reached Chūnin rank, Neji was the only one to advance to jōnin.
  
  As a member of the Hyūga clan, Neji possesses the Byakugan, a dōjutsu kekkei genkai which grants him x-ray vision, nearly 360-degree vision, and the ability to see chakra networks. The Byakugan has a small blind spot at the upper thoracic vertebrae, a weakness of which Neji is actually aware of and takes extra precaution in concealing it from opponents. While the Byakugan naturally has only a 50 meter field of vision, Neji is able to increase its range several times, to at least 800 meters. He is also noted to have a particularly strong Byakugan relative to other members of the Hyūga clan.
  
  Neji specializes in close-range, taijutsu combat. In battle, Neji has shown tremendous agility and dexterity, capable of simultaneously dodging and striking an opponent with no wasted movement. His attacks are fast and fluid, striking in rapid succession to leave very little time for his opponent to find an opening to counter, but also deliberate.
  Neji's fighting style is the signature style of his clan, the Gentle Fist or Jūken, which takes advantage of the Byakugan's insight into people's chakra pathway system. Gentle Fist allows for severe internal trauma with minimal external force as it relies on surgical injection of chakra into an opponent's chakra network nodes, or tenketsu. As the Byakugan can see the 361 tenketsu of the chakra pathway system, Neji can use Gentle Fist to not only damage opponents, but control their chakra flow as well. Using the Gentle Fist, Neji can affect internal organs, and is capable of killing an opponent with a single strike should he aim to harm the heart.
  
  As a member of the Hyūga clan's branch house, Neji is forbidden to learn the clan's secret techniques, but managed to deduce their workings simply through observation. He has learned many of these techniques, such as Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin and Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. Since mastering these techniques, Neji has begun to refine and strengthen them for more specialized needs.

  Neji was born with an unmarked forehead, but when his cousin Hinata (the main branch's heiress) turned three years old, he was branded with the Hyūga Main Family's Juinjutsu by his uncle Hiashi. All branch members carry this curse mark, as it is a symbol that one lives only to serve the main branch.
  
  Neji's father, Hizashi, was well aware of Neji's natural talent, and he was frustrated that despite Neji's skill, Neji still carried the fate of a servant. Hizashi openly showed his anger; consequently, he was punished through Hiashi's activation of his curse seal. Around this time, the Konoha and Kumogakure had signed an alliance treaty. However, that treaty only served as a ticket into Konoha and a lowering of Konoha's guard so the Head Ninja of Kumogakure could abduct Hinata and steal the secrets of the Byakugan. The attempt failed, though, as Hiashi intervened and killed the man in his tracks.
  
  When word of the murder reached Kumogakure, they demanded Hiashi's body as compensation (as his body would hold the Byakugan as well). Konoha wasn't prepared to comply to this request until Hizashi stepped in and offered to give himself up instead. Due to him being bound by the Hyūga Main Family's Juinjutsu when he died, the Byakugan would be sealed away. Hizashi made this sacrifice willingly in order to protect his brother, family, and village. However, Neji came to believe that the main branch had forced him to do so. This misconception became the primary basis of his grudge against the main branch and of his concrete view on one's unalterable fate.
